Privacy Policy

      The short version: webpage2PDF processes everything locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, store, or share any of your data. Period.
    

1. What Data We Access

When you choose to convert a webpage, the extension temporarily accesses the following information from your active browser tab:

2. What We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:

Personally identifiable information (name, email, address)
Browsing history or navigation patterns
Cookies, authentication tokens, or credentials
Analytics, telemetry, or usage statistics
Financial, health, or location data

      The extension contains no analytics scripts, no tracking pixels, no third-party SDKs, and makes zero network requests. All conversion processing happens entirely within your browser.
    

3. Data Storage

The only data persisted by the extension is your conversion preferences (paper size, orientation, "include images", and "print backgrounds" toggles). These are saved via chrome.storage.sync, which is Chrome's built-in mechanism for syncing small settings across your signed-in devices. No personal or page content data is ever stored.

4. Third-Party Services

webpage2PDF does not use, integrate with, or send data to any third-party services, APIs, servers, or analytics platforms. The extension operates entirely offline after installation.

5. Permissions Explained

The extension requests the following Chrome permissions, each for a specific purpose:

`tabs`	List open tabs for batch mode; read tab titles for filenames
`downloads`	Save converted files to your device
`scripting`	Inject page preparation and extraction scripts at conversion time
`debugger`	Use Chrome's built-in print-to-PDF and screenshot APIs
`contextMenus`	Add right-click "Save as…" options
`storage`	Remember your settings preferences
`notifications`	Notify you when a batch conversion finishes
`<all_urls>`	Allow conversion on any website you visit

6. Children's Privacy

The extension does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under 13. Since no personal data is collected at all, COPPA compliance is inherent.

7. Changes to This Policy

If we update this privacy policy, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date. Since the extension collects no data, meaningful changes are unlikely.
